Colorado State at Wyoming: Three things we learned

This time a year ago, Levi Williams was getting ready to sign early with Houston. He followed through with that, but once the Cougars made a coaching change in January, Williams was released from his National Letter of Intent and instead chose Wyoming.

It’s hard to imagine where the Cowboys would’ve been Friday night had that not happened.

With running backs Trey Smith, Titus Swen and quarterback Sean Chambers already out with injuries and Xazavian Valladay nicked up from the workload he’s had to tote in their absence, Wyoming’s vaunted rushing attack desperately needed another option. Williams, who hadn’t played all season, was it.
