USDA Brings Telehealth And Distance Learning Grants To Wyoming
26 Feb 2020
A new program from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is making it easier for rural area students and patients to connect with teachers and medical professionals around the globe, making healthcare and education services and information available via electronic and telecommunication technologies in a way they weren’t before.
Groups across the state are already seeing the benefits of such funding. For example, Care United Medical Center of Laramie utilized funds to establish a primary care network at 21 rural pharmacies throughout Wyoming, which has improved health care access for roughly 90,000 Wyoming citizens already.
