307 Meat Company offers USDA inspection to Wyoming producers

A new Wyoming meat processing facility will allow more of the state’s meat producers to keep their business in-state.

307 Meat Company, located in Laramie, is a USDA inspected facility that slaughters and processes livestock. It started processing March 4, and processes beef, pork, lamb, goat and bison.

Kelcey Christensen is the president of 307 Meat Company. He said his business will also include a retail store, which will sell meat sourced from Wyoming producers to the public. He also hopes to sell sustainably caught seafood, which will be sourced from a supplier who buys from 30 different docks around the United States each day.
