Wyoming Silvers opens Wednesday, October 28 in Upton, owned by Dennis and Jill Hendrix. The company was established in 1983. The couple has been on the road with shows for many years and have finally opened a store in their hometown.They are located in the Yellow Daisy Building on the west end of town. The store will have gifts and jewelry.

Dennis crafts custom name rings, which are available the next day, glass sculptures and lariat baskets. Jill’s work features glass and metal work jew- elry. The store will also carry local craftwoman, April Silbaugh’s herbal soaps, lotions and balms. Wyoming-themed metal work will also be fea- tured.

Their awards over the years include: 2011 “Best of Show” Bismarck Arts and Galler- ies, 2010 “honorable mention Yankton Area Arts”, “US Attorney Generals” (western states), three years “Who’s Who of American women artists”, Featured artist with Anderson Americana Galleries”, The Flow Magazine, Women in Glass, 2017, 2018, 2019, Glass line magazine June/July 2020.

Plan on attending an open house on Election Day and start your holiday shopping. The store will be open on Tuesday, November 3 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
