Blockchain Program @ Crook County Library
15 Nov 2021
Tyler Lindholm will present the program “Blockchain Simplified” at Crook County Library in Sundance on Friday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. The program will focus on what blockchains are, how is Wyoming involved, and what are the practical applications in our daily lives. Ogden Driskill will also be on hand to describe his use of blockchain technology in his cattle operation. Sponsored by Crook Coun- ty Library, the program is free to the public.
Lindholm is a Sundance High School graduate, fourth generation Crook County ranch- er, and Navy veteran. He rep- resented our 1st district in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2015 to 2021 and is currently State Policy Director for Senator Cynthia Lummis.
During his tenure in the House of Representatives, Lindholm was at the forefront of passing groundbreaking legislation to create a regulatory environment sympathetic to growth in the use of blockchain technology. Many of us have read about blockchains, but still don’t fully comprehend the concept or how it applies to our lives. This program will explain what is, how it works, and why we should be aware of the impact on our lives.
